Title: Motor Technician (Rewind)
Location: West Chicago, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire

This role is responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and testing electro-mechanical equipment. The Motor Rewind Technician will disassemble, rewind, inspect, and test motors, pumps, and related equipment while completing all required documentation accurately and on time. This is an urgent need due to an internal employee relocating out of the country within the next two months.
Job Duties:
- Repair and rebuild electro-mechanical equipment, including motors and pumps
- Rewind, inspect, and test single-phase, three-phase, DC fields, wound rotors, and transformers
- Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical equipment
- Perform complete testing on repaired equipment
- Accurately complete required paperwork and checklists for each job
- Follow safety, quality, and shop procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience repairing and rebuilding electro-mechanical equipment
- Hands-on experience with motor rewinding and testing
- Ability to work independently and meet job timelines
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
