Description for Electric Motor Mechanic:
- Perform comprehensive electrical and mechanical diagnostics, teardowns, overhauls, and repairs on large industrial AC and DC electric motors.
- Conduct precision testing, insulation resistance testing (Megger), surge testing, and mechanical tolerance checks on stators, rotors, armatures, and bearings.
- Execute field service troubleshooting, on-site equipment diagnostics, laser alignment, and dynamic balancing at industrial client facilities as needed.
- Utilize computer diagnostic software, digital testing instruments, and database systems to log repair specs and generate service reports.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, hydraulic presses, precision measuring instruments, and shop machining equipment.
- Maintain high safety standards, adhering strictly to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety codes, and facility protocols.

- Pay Rate: $37.00 – $45.00 / hour (Scaling strictly based on Depth of Experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift (Monday – Friday core routine).

Requirements for Electric Motor Mechanic:
- MINIMUM 10+ YEARS of verifiable commercial/industrial electric motor repair and overhaul experience strictly required.
- Must operate and perform cleanly at a true Journeyman level.
- Demonstrated expertise working with both large AC and DC electric motor architectures, controls, and winding configurations.
- Field service experience in industrial manufacturing or mill environments is highly preferred.
- Functional computer literacy for operating diagnostic software, recording specs, and managing work orders.
