    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Conductive Elastomer Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production for conductive elastomer components used in EMI/RFI shielding applications. This role ensures efficient operations, high product quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage daily manufacturing operations including mixing, molding, extrusion, and testing of conductive elastomers.
    • Oversee production scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
    • Monitor KPIs (yield, scrap, OEE, throughput) and implement corrective actions.
    • Provide employee coaching and development.
    • Maintain and improve processes involving:
    • Silicone, fluorosilicate, and other elastomer components
    • Conductive fillers (silver, nickel, graphite, etc.)
    • Partner with engineering on process development, scale-up, and validation.
    • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to extrusion, molding, adhesion, and conductivity performance.
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards:
    • ISO 9001 / AS9100
    • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Maintain documentation for work instructions, process parameters, and traceability.
    • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators.
    • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
    • Implement Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma initiatives.
    • Reduce waste, scrap, and cycle times.
    • Lead process optimization efforts.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
    • Promote safe handling of chemicals, fillers, and curing agents.
    • Maintain a clean and organized production environment (5S).
