Required Education:
High School Degree
Preferred Education & Certification
Completion of an accredited EKG/ECG Technician training program
Current EKG Technician certification (e.g., CET or CCT) preferred
Preferred Experience
Current or recent experience performing EKG tracings in a clinical or hospital setting
Experience with EMR systems, charge capture, and clinical documentation workflows
Experience with Holter monitor application and processing
Familiarity with stress testing procedures (or willingness to be trained)

Job Overview:
This position is responsible for performing EKG tracings and Holter Monitors, as well as processing corresponding paperwork and charging. This position also edits interpreted EKGs, is responsible for office communications, and cleans and troubleshoots equipment. Cross training is also provided to perform Stress Testing as needed.
