    Job Overview:

    The Licensed Therapist provides clinical support to individuals in early intervention programs, addressing co-occurring needs and promoting overall well-being. They conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, MI, and Solution-Focused approaches to achieve positive treatment outcomes. The role also involves engaging families and communities in care, coordinating service linkages, and ensuring smooth transitions to appropriate levels of care after program completion.

    Acenda’s Mental Health Urgent Care Walk-In Clinics provide immediate, same-day access to behavioral health support for individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health symptoms, or situational crises. Designed as an alternative to emergency room visits, our clinics offer a compassionate, safe, and stigma-free environment where individuals can receive short-term counseling, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, and referral to ongoing care. We serve adults across Cape May County, helping to stabilize individuals and connect them to the appropriate level of support—when they need it most. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team is passionate about reducing barriers to mental health care and creating pathways to recovery and wellness in the communities we serve. As the mental health clinician, you will be part of this dynamic team providing assessment, treatment and wellness services to individuals who have mental health diagnosis. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with co-occurring stabilization for those we serve, and any medication needs for our individuals to enhance their daily quality of life
    • Utilize assessment and evidenced-based modalities to ensure the most successful outcome for the individual's needs (MI, CBT, Solution-focused, IMR, etc)
    • Participate in innovation initiatives designed to engage families and communities in treatment
    • Ensure proper service linkage to appropriate level of care and flow upon exiting our 30-day Early Intervention Support Service

    Requirements:

    • Must possess a Master's Degree within the Human Services Field, and have two years post Master's experience in this domain
    • New Jersey license in good standing (minimum of LAC, LSW)
    • CADC or LCADC preferred. May be an addiction counselor-intern working toward CADC.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong clinical perspectives
    • Engage in the Team approach, and strength-based initiatives with our team members and our EISS Co-Occurring population

    Additional Information:

    • Base Rate: $31.25
    • Sign-on Bonus: This position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with $2,500 paid at hire and $2,500 paid upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.
    • Bilingual Rate: An additional $1.50 added to base rate if Spanish proficient
    • Schedule: Day with some Evening/Weekends shifts

These events include Concept Development, Doctrine Development and Analysis. Participants: Navy/Maritime Military, Joint Military, Coalition Nations, and Civil Agencies. Primary focus areas have been Command and Control, Ballistic Missile Defense, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Strike Warfare, Unmanned air, undersea and surface vehicles, Distributed Netted Systems, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Large Area/Global Concept of Operations, Maritime Domain Awareness, Global Maritime Awareness, Red Team, Health Services Support, Mine Warfare, Joint/Navy Command Organization and Relationships, and the technologies, systems and processes involved with the above.

     CONTRACTS

    Current: Supporting contracts at Navy Warfare Development Command (Experimentation and Analysis) in Norfolk VA.
