EHS Technician
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Pay: $25–26/hour + shift differential
Shift: 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday

Position Overview:
The EHS Technician will be a boots-on-the-ground safety professional working directly with production teams to ensure environmental health and safety processes are followed. This role focuses on hazard identification, ergonomics improvements, safety audits, and supporting OSHA compliance across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and shop floor audits
  • Partner with production teams to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Support ergonomics improvements and workstation safety initiatives
  • Assist with incident investigations and prepare accident reports
  • Help ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies
  • Coordinate and support safety training for employees
  • Monitor use of proper PPE and safety procedures
  • Participate in industrial hygiene and environmental safety efforts
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and OSHA logs as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams
Qualifications:
  • Prior EHS or safety experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Hands-on shop floor safety experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices
  • Experience with incident investigations and hazard identification
  • Exposure to ergonomics, audits, or industrial hygiene is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams
