    Summary
    AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with prior management experience in this field to oversee the day-to-day activities, implementation, and administration of environmental, health and safety programs.

    Responsibilities and Duties
    Lead by example and comply with all AMG V safety and environmental requirements, policies, and procedures, including AMG's Code of Business Conduct
    Embrace and promote the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities; foster and promote a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with AMG's values
    Ensure workforce compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.), Environmental Regulatory and Permit Requirements, and company standards
    Develop and enforce site environmental and safety policies and procedures
    Promote and enforce safe work practices at the site; develop a safety culture with employee engagement as a core pillar
    Promote and enforce a culture of environmental compliance and stewardship
    Conduct regular environmental and safety audits and inspections
    Responsible for environmental and safety communication and reporting
    Manage documentation as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards
    ISO 14001 and 45001 program engagement
    Responsible for leadership of compliance training
    Ensure and support the timely completion of safety and environmental incident investigations, driving to root cause and corrective action implementation
    Lead and provide oversight of employee health initiatives and programs
    Manage contractor safety program and training
    Lead site Safety Council
    Maintain emergency response system and protocol; train and execute drills/exercises on responsible management of emergency situations

    Qualifications/Skills/Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in environmental, occupational health and safety, or related field
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management in industrial setting
    Knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards, ANSI, NEC, NFPA
    RCRA, and/or Title V Air Permit experience; preferably for a Large Quantity Generator
    ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 understanding and experience
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills; strong coaching skills
    Ability to understand technical processes
    Strong leadership skills
    Data analysis skills
    Problem solving skills
    Project management skills
    Regular engagement with front line employees and operations
    Good follow through skills, as well as heightened attention to detail
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
