Description

Top global manufacturer in cosmetics and fragrances has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced EHS Specialist.

The role supports implementation and continuous improvement programs designed to ensure a safe, healthy, incident-free, and secure work environment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsible for the site's compliance and alignment with all environmental and safety regulatory agencies, Partner with cross functional teams to drive a safe culture and maintain the organization's commitment to regulatory compliance and employee well-being. Oversee general security systems, including controlled access and video surveillance systems with the support of the IT function.

There are broad responsibilities that will include Environmental Compliance, Health & Safety
Security, and Program Administration & Culture


QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree
Experience
1-2+ years of professional experience in an EHS, environmental compliance, or occupational safety role;Prior experience in a manufacturing/production or an industrial setting is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and applicable state/local requirements. Hands-on experience conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations, and EHS training delivery.
Certifications
Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential is a plus.
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification is a plus.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver training to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);experience with EHS management software or databases a plus.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Ability to walk production floors, warehouse areas, and outdoor environments
