About The Role

This role is essential in supporting our Minnesota R&D and laboratory operations by implementing EHS programs and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with various stakeholders to maintain a safe, compliant, and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement EHS programs focused on injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction.
  • Coordinate site EHS inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with environmental compliance, including hazardous waste and chemical management.
  • Support incident investigations and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain EHS records, permits, and compliance tracking systems.
  • Coordinate employee EHS training and awareness programs.
  • Oversee facilities-related requests, maintenance, and improvement projects.
  • Conduct routine physical security inspections and administer site access processes.
  • Support emergency response planning and crisis management activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, environmental science, safety, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in EHS, laboratory, facilities, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, and laboratory safety requirements.
  • Experience with inspections, audits, training, and compliance programs.
  • Ability to coordinate facilities maintenance and contractor activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data tracking tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to safely climb ladders, stairs, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Capable of wearing a full-face respirator as needed.

Work Environment

  • Onsite role in Minnesota supporting R&D and laboratory operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, or as required.
