As EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring all plant safety
Performing safety audits on the plant floor
Assisting with the safety portion of employee orientations
Recertifying plant associates
Employee training
Investigating safety and environmental issues and developing countermeasures
Ensuring ISO and OSHA compliance
Improving the EHS department
Ensuring the correct handling hazardous waste
Reporting incidents/accidents; determining root cause analysis

Requirements for the EHS Specialist:
A degree in Safety, Environmental, or similar is preferred but not required
Previous environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred
Experience with ISO14001
Hands on; excellent communication skills; a go-getter
