    Description

    Step into a day on the plant floor

    You arrive prepared to partner closely with Operations, aligning with management’s direction to shape and sustain a strong safety culture. Your morning might begin with a walkthrough of production lines—spotting ergonomic strain risks, reviewing chemical storage practices, and verifying physical safeguards. Midday, you lead a focused training session, translating complex regulations into practical actions. By afternoon, you’re refining procedures that reduce exposure to chemical, physical, and ergonomic hazards, ensuring our workplace keeps people healthy and productive.

    What you’ll own

    • Collaborate with Operations and work under management’s guidance to develop, roll out, and manage the company’s safety program.
    • Conduct routine and targeted safety inspections and deliver engaging safety training across shifts and departments.
    • Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments to identify risks and drive corrective and preventive actions.
    • Design and improve programs and procedures that control, eliminate, and prevent illness or injury stemming from chemical, physical, or ergonomic factors.
    • Support compliance with applicable health and safety laws and regulations; verify adherence during audits and inspections.

    What you bring

    • Proven knowledge of safety and well-being within production/manufacturing and/or construction, supported by OSHA and EPA certifications.
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to real-world operations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to coach, mentor, and influence at all levels.
    • 2+ years in a dedicated safety position within a manufacturing environment.

    • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
    • Coaching and mentoring experience
    • ISO 9001 certification experience
    • Workplace Safety & EHS management
    • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
