    EHS INSPECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
     






    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
     
    Responsible for conducting routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies in a manufacturing or construction environment. Supports the EHS program by identifying hazards, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
     
    Job responsibilities:
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of facility, equipment and work areas
    • Inspect rigging, lifting equipment, electrical systems, fall protection, fire protection, and machinery
    • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of deficiencies and corrective actions
    • Report on unsafe conditions and non-compliance issues to Production and EHS leadership
    • Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 45001, OSHA, NFPA, and other standards
    • Support incident investigations by gathering information and documentation
    • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
    • Recommend hazard prevention and continuous improvement measures
    • Assist with safety equipment inventory and calibration tracking 

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
     
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, construction, or related field
    • Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
