POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for conducting routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies in a manufacturing or construction environment. Supports the EHS program by identifying hazards, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Job responsibilities: - Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of facility, equipment and work areas
- Inspect rigging, lifting equipment, electrical systems, fall protection, fire protection, and machinery
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of deficiencies and corrective actions
- Report on unsafe conditions and non-compliance issues to Production and EHS leadership
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 45001, OSHA, NFPA, and other standards
- Support incident investigations by gathering information and documentation
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Recommend hazard prevention and continuous improvement measures
- Assist with safety equipment inventory and calibration tracking
