    Description

    Job Title: HSE Engineer
    Duration: 06+ Months
    Location: Palmetto, FL 34221

    Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift: 11 PM to 7 am If necessary, it may include weekends previously negotiated with HSE Manager

    Introduction

    This role involves working as a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Engineer in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position requires dedication to promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the Process Technology operations at our Client Heat Exchangers Manufacturing Plant.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 5 or more years of experience in HSE, with an emphasis on industrial safety
    • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
    • Proven ability to develop positive relationships and collaboration with Production teams
    • Experience in incident investigation and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement
    • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

    Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field
    • OSHA 30h training (certified or in progress)
    • Previous field HSE experience in manufacturing or mechanical/welding construction areas

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Provide HSE field support to all production areas and warehouse
    • Conduct shop floor rounds, inspections, and audits
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Deliver HSE training and coaching to new hires and existing employees
    • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
    • Track and report HSE related actions and compliance tasks to closure using HSE Management System (MST)
    • Conduct and support incident investigations
