The Corporate Safety Engineer will focus on the overall safety strategy for TSMC Arizona.xa0 The Corporate ESH Engineer will develop safety and environmental standards, work with management to implements ESH directive, ensure that safety policies and procedures align with Federal and State regulations.xa0

Essential Functions:

• Manager the Environmental programs for TSMC Arizona Facilities
• Work with Construction team on Environmental and safety related issues and concerns.xa0
• Corporate ESH primary point of contact for EHS issues with ISEP.
• Responsible for reviewing new/updated regulations that may impact TSMC Arizona.
• Work with facilities, Material Management, and warehouse hazardous waste issues.xa0
• Provide technical, regulatory and process guidance to address emerging ESH issues
• Evaluate new TSMC AZ machinery, and inspect waste management status
• Point of contact for all Management of Change issues.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental or a closely related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified for a Health and Safety professional in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of RCRA,xa0 wastewater compliance, air compliance, OSHA, DOT, Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health and other relevant safety regulations.xa0
• Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey safety procedures and expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and proactive problem-solving to minimize risks.
• Adaptability: Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust strategies based on changing regulations and operational needs.
• Organizational Skills: Manages multiple projects and safety programs, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
• Compliance: Proficient in tracking and reporting safety metrics, including leading and lagging indicators.
