The organization is well-funded, growing rapidly, and operating at the intersection of advanced hardware, software, and infrastructure.Job DescriptionIn this role you will report directly into Senior Leadership and will be responsible for:Developing and implementing the company's industrial safety management system.Establishing company-wide safety policies, procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics.Building and promoting a proactive safety culture that supports innovation and operational excellence.Performing Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and risk assessments for testing and manufacturing operations.Developing safety procedures for high-pressure systems, Lockout/Tagout programs, confined space entry, and energized work activities.Participating in engineering design reviews and evaluating engineering changes for safety impacts.Establishing emergency response plans, emergency shutdown procedures, and business continuity support processes.Coordinating safety readiness reviews and supporting commissioning of test and manufacturing equipment.Leading incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action programs, workplace inspections, and safety audits.Developing and delivering employee safety training programs while maintaining qualification and training records.Ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations.Building the industrial safety organization, coaching leaders on safety practices, and driving employee engagement in safety initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
