    Description

    The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. This position promotes a proactive safety culture, assists with regulatory compliance activities, conducts safety training, investigates incidents, and partners with operational teams to reduce workplace risks and environmental impacts.
     
    Required Skills and Abilities:
     
    • Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field required.
    • 1-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment preferred.
    • Experience with OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety programs required.
    • Environmental compliance experience preferred.
    • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification preferred
    • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulations.
    • Strong understanding of industrial safety principles and risk assessment methodologies.
    • Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
    • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to influence employees and management at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
