Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking an EHR Specialist to be part of our Athena Support and Development team.
Please note that this is a fully in-person role located at our office in Arden, NC.

What You'll Do:
The EHR Specialist strives to meet the organizations goals of maintaining clinical systems and providing a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes, reduces costs, increases efficiency and enhances patients' experiences. Responsibilities include:
Assist with maintenance of EHR/CPS (as well as third-party systems, i.e. patient portal, e-prescribing, lab interface, etc.).
Collaborate with senior staff, clinicians, and end users to design, build, test, train, implement, and evaluate all clinical software applications.
Provide support to staff who use clinical information system(s).
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as well as software modifications and enhancements
Maintain current knowledge of the systems and applications through: attending training courses, reading information available in product announcements, participating in system updates, and subscribing to vendor web sites.
Build good working relationships and maintain a continuous interface with customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisor and utilizes these relationships to resolve issues and problems and explore opportunities.
Provide training to clinical staff and user clients on EHR and other third party clinical systems
Develop and utilize training manuals and programs to keep the end-users at the highest level of knowledge on the functionality of the system.
Assist the Clinical Data Analyst in running reports and/or collecting and organizing data into meaningful evaluations.
