Raytheons Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team is looking for an Electrical Engineer with education and experience in performing circuit card testing and troubleshooting to the component level utilizing schematics and test equipment.
What You Will Do
• The EAP Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of power systems from all round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors; Telemetry and Flight Termination products. Each of these products generally operates in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V. • Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications • Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics. • Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs. • Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.
Qualifications You Must Have
• A Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years experience • Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures. • Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level • Experience with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analyzers
Qualifications We Prefer
• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering • Experience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test) and DMV (Design Margin Verification). • A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills. Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured. • Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGAs. • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.
