Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant or Clinical Support professional to provide patient care in a clinical setting.

Administer flu shots and other vaccinations safely and efficiently.
Perform phlebotomy and collect blood specimens.
Administer medication injections as directed by clinical protocols.
Assist with various laboratory procedures and patient care tasks between appointments.
Perform EKGs when needed; prior EKG experience is preferred but not required.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate patient support.
Follow all safety, infection-control, and clinical protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Provide professional, compassionate, and courteous patient care.

Qualifications

MA needed, CPT preferred but not required. Must have administered at least 10 vaccines within the past year

Must meet one of the following:

· Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program

· OR Military Medical Assistant training completed

· OR Certified Medical Assistant from an approved accrediting body

· (Must also have completed a Medical Assistant training program)

· Accepted Certifications (Active or Previously Active)

· AMCA – American Medical Certification Association

· AMT – American Medical Technologists

· AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants

· NHA – National Healthcareer Association

· NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing
