Educator - Payor Credentialing, Managed Care

Responsibilities: The Managed Care Educator, Payor Credentialing must have a full understanding of the credentialing process and work flow in order to successfully educate, train, and instruct all current and new payer coordinators. This position will also assist in physician payer contracting as well as have a working knowledge of creating, maintaining, and pulling weekly reports from various database(s) utilized within the department.

Responsibilities:

The Managed Care Educator, Payor Credentialing must have a full understanding of the credentialing process and work flow in order to successfully educate, train, and instruct all current and new payer coordinators. This position will also assist in physician payer contracting as well as have a working knowledge of creating, maintaining, and pulling weekly reports from various database(s) utilized within the department. The Educator, Payor Credentialing will also be responsible for assisting in creating/updating all processes and training manuals. Educator must have the ability to adapt to challenging situations or diverse personalities. The educator will be responsible for assessing and updating training progress to leadership.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Three years: credentialing; educator or training.
• Associate Degree

• Bachelor Degree
