Educational Sign Language Interpreter

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a qualified Educational Sign Language Interpreter to support an elementary school student in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the upcoming school year.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position
• Elementary school setting
• MondayFriday schedule aligned with the school calendar
• Competitive hourly compensation

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for a deaf or hard-of-hearing student throughout the school day
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
• Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and related educational services
• Collaborate with the educational team to support student success

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• 3.5 or higher EIPA score meeting South Carolina requirements \
• Previous educational interpreting experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
