IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team.
The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing international customer base.
This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC, office. The hours are 5 am - 2 pm ET to support global customers in specific time zones.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead calls with international customers to identify customer needs and provide solutions through various IXL products
Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
Ensure the timely processing of international leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
Manage your sales pipeline, identify growth opportunities and communicate clearly the progress of campaigns to the sales teams to ensure goal attainment
Collaborate with Account Management to assist with the tracking and management of renewals and expansions from existing customers
Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BA/BS degree
1+ year of sales experience, preferably within the EdTech or software industry
A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal (video/telephone) and written communications skills
Understanding of web applications
Ability to accommodate various global time zones
Passion for improving education through technology
Salesforce.com is a plus
Experience in the classroom or as a school or district administrator is a plus
