Educational Paraprofessional Position Part-Time Library Assistant Paraeducator

Job Description:

Under general supervision, assists the Library-Media Specialist by performing a variety of tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and one of the following:

• Associates degree; or

• Minimum of 60 college credits; or

• Passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment

• Successful experience working with children preferred, but training will be provided.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 19, 2026
• 10-month, school-year position
• 5 Hours/day
• Hourly wage in accordance with the Paraeducators collective bargaining agreement
• Benefits to include paid leave
