POSITION: Paraprofessional Employment Opportunity

START DATE: Upon Hire

Shared Services has a full time opening for a paraprofessional at the Botelle Elementary School located in Norfolk - this position is full time, 7 hours per day Monday-Friday and follows the school calendar.

Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent or successful completion of para-pro assessment test
• Experience working within the school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and under the supervision of program teacher
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding assigned students.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Prior experience working with special needs students preferred
• Professional demeanor
