Job Description:

Position: Educational Assistant - Litchfield Center School

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Regional School District No. 20 is seeking qualified applicants for Educational Assistant positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, Litchfield Center School.

This is a 10-month school year, 35 hours per week position with a full benefit package.

This position is intended to assist the classroom teacher in performing assigned tasks.

The tasks must not supplant or infringe upon the teachers instructional responsibilities.

Previous experience or training with students with behavioral and intellectual disabilities

preferred.

Qualifications:

Must have completed at least 60 semester hours of college credit, or earned at least an Associate's Degree, or successfully passed the Parapro exam. Behavior management experience preferred.

Hourly Rate & Benefits:

$19.47 per hour for the first 6 months, $20.50 after 6 months.

Pension plan - 403 b defined contribution plan with district match.
