Behavior Technicians

Behavior Technicians will assist, tutor, and instruct students who present with behavioral and/or mental health

needs. The Behavior Technician will assist with the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior

reduction plans developed by a BCBA and / or Special Education teacher. Additionally, the Behavior Technician

will assist with the implementation of Special Education programming. Behavior technicians assist with core

academics, executive functioning skills, and student care. They have the unique opportunity to

contribute to positive educational outcomes by working as part of the outstanding team dedicated

to educating our students.

Location: Lake Garda Elementary and Lewis S. Mills High Schools

Starting Date: August 25, 2026

Wage: $23.78/hr

Schedule: 7.25 hours per day at Lake Garda Schools

7.0 hours per day at Lewis Mills Schools

183 days per year for all

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher OR 60 college credits OR passing score in the ParaPro exam
  • Certified Behavior Tech or Registered Behavior tech OR
  • Participation in additional 40 hours online training for Behavior Techs. (link provided)
