Position: K–12 Educational Technology & Professional Learning Specialist

Position Overview
This per diem specialist position supports K–12 school customers with the successful implementation and use of print and digital English Language Development (ELD) instructional solutions. The role focuses on educator training, digital platform expertise, curriculum implementation, and ongoing support for teachers and school leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate live, virtual, and asynchronous training sessions that support successful implementation of instructional products in K–12 classrooms.
- Serve as a digital platform expert, helping educators and school leaders understand and effectively use digital learning platforms across various technology environments.
- Maintain regular communication with school and district leaders and teachers to assess and address curriculum and technology needs.
- Provide ongoing implementation support and guidance to educators.
- Deliver internal training and digital product support to sales and other internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Adapt training and communication approaches to meet the needs of different audiences and learning environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in teaching, training, professional development, facilitation, educational publishing, or educational technology.
- Strong knowledge of English Language Development (ELD) curriculum and instruction.
- Excellent training, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting in virtual and in-person environments.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and video creation tools.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology platforms.
- Ability to travel overnight approximately 30–40% of the time, with travel by both automobile and air.
- Ability to lift and move instructional materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- NYC-area candidates preferred.

This is a per diem position averaging 15–20 hours per week, with scheduling based on training and customer support needs.
