The Southwest Center for Advancing Clinical and Translational Innovation (SW CACTI) at the University of New Mexico HSC is looking for a creative, skilled, and flexible education specialist to join our team.
UNM's Southwest Center for Advancing Clinical and Translational Innovation (SW CACTI) is a partnership between the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona, and is committed to creating and promoting a thriving, unified research environment within the CTSA Program framework that accelerates Clinical and Translational Science innovation locally, regionally, and nationally to more efficiently advance individual and community health across the U.S. Southwest.
SW CACTI works toward improving the health and well-being of New Mexico and Arizona by supporting collaborative and sustainable research that supports the dissemination of evidence-based practices to inform health decisions. We seek to reduce barriers to clinical and translational science for both investigators and participants so that we can serve the entire research community.
The successful candidate will have:
This person will work with our Workforce Development team, developing multimedia training resources to advance the skills of the translational research workforce. The successful candidate will be capable of consulting, collaborating, and independently leading complex training projects. We are looking for a person who works effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates flexibility in managing evolving responsibilities and program needs. They must be willing to work in a hybrid work setting and have flexibility to support in-person work requirements as needed for program activities.
