About the Position
The Education Program Development Supervisor will provide leadership and support for statewide business, personal finance, financial literacy, and college and career readiness initiatives. The director will collaborate with educators, school leaders, institutions of higher education, workforce partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen instructional programs and promote student success. The supervisor will be responsible for: Developing and delivering statewide professional development and training for educators. Leading the review, revision, and implementation of state standards related to business education, personal finance, financial literacy, and college and career readiness. Supporting districts with curriculum implementation, instructional best practices, and program development. Providing technical assistance and guidance to schools, districts, and stakeholders regarding course requirements and instructional expectations. Assisting with the development and monitoring of grants, budgets, and program initiatives. Collaborating with workforce, business, and postsecondary partners to strengthen career-connected learning opportunities. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data to support continuous improvement and accountability measures. Developing resources, guidance documents, and communications to support educators and administrators statewide. Monitoring state and federal policies, trends, and legislation related to business. Education and college and career readiness. Coordinating meetings, training, conferences, and stakeholder engagement activities.
