This position develops, cultivates, and sustains strategic partnerships with South Carolina school districts, individual schools, technical colleges, state agencies, community organizations, and private-sector employers to expand awareness of advanced energy education and career opportunities. The Education & Community Outreach Coordinator leads statewide outreach and engagement efforts, schedules and manages Mobile Lab visits, delivers engaging presentations and immersive virtual reality experiences, and provides participating schools and partners with comprehensive support before, during, and after each activation. The position works closely with administrators, counselors, teachers, employers, and community stakeholders to identify outreach opportunities, strengthen program participation, and ensure each visit is effectively planned and implemented. As an on-site representative and brand ambassador, the Education & Community Outreach Coordinator ensures consistent messaging, professionalism, and alignment with organizational goals while creating meaningful experiences that connect students and educators with advanced energy pathways. The role also collects, verifies, manages, analyzes, and reports participation, demographic, feedback, and impact data to meet SC NEXUS reporting requirements, track program performance, communicate outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders, and support continuous improvement and future program growth.
