Epson is seeking for a Field Account Manager to join our Education Commercial Sales Team!

In this role, you will drive sales growth by building strong relationships with education customers, increasing Epsons brand presence, and expanding market opportunities across the education sector. Through a consultative, solution-based sales approach, you will identify customer needs, develop new business opportunities, and deliver Epsons innovative solutions that support todays learning environments.

This position will support the Southeast region for our Education Accounts. Candidates must reside in the Tampa or Orlando, Florida area.

What You Will Be Doing:

Builds Sales

  • Meets and exceeds sales and product objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available
  • Collaborates with Sales Manager in development of sales plan
  • Establishes a strong Epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level
  • Develops contacts in target accounts through prospecting in designated territory
  • Follows-up on all leads provided by the company
  • Interacts with all appropriate internal and external customers to insure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the customer
  • Identifies and understands the customer's needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs, and services
  • Leverages Epson channel partners whenever possible and minimize channel conflict
  • Demonstrates products to new and existing customers
  • Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers' purchases and other business activities in the near and distant future
  • Participates in trade shows, sales meetings, training classes, and other lead generation activities
  • Resolves customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate

Effective Sales Administration

  • Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts
  • Adheres to all administrative policies and procedures
  • Maintains account database of contacts and activities
  • Submits all commission documentation monthly
  • Provides monthly pipeline sales forecasts to sales management
  • Operates within budgetary constraints
  • Submits weekly activity/call reports

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Account management experience in education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to effectively work within a team environment to accomplish sales goals.
  • Ability to lift/carry loads of up to 20 pounds
  • Up to 50% in field travel required

The starting annual base pay for this role is between $106,802 and $146,853. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in Epsons sales incentive compensation plan. Target total compensation is structured under a 65/35 pay mix, with approximately 65% of target compensation represented by base salary and 35% represented by target incentive compensation. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
