EDM Operator
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled EDM Operator responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Wire EDM and Sinker EDM equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to produce complex, high-precision components with sub-micron tolerances, often working with exotic materials in a highly regulated industry.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in CAD/CAM and EDM processes, and experienced in working within strict quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM machines
- Achieve sub-micron tolerances on exotic and high-performance materials
- Utilize CAD/CAM systems for programming and machining operations
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Perform machine setup, including fixturing, tooling, and offsets
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure part conformity
- Troubleshoot EDM machines and machining processes to maintain quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with ITAR and ISO 9001 standards and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to quality requirements

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating Wire and Sinker EDM equipment
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances and precision manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Experience using CAD/CAM software
- Hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling, and offsets
- Strong troubleshooting skills in EDM processes and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with exotic materials
- Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI)
