EDM Machinist $5k sign on bonus

• The Opportunity

  Our client has several openings for CNC Machinist, EDM. You'll set up and operate CNC EDM equipment, with occasional support for grind operations, and keep machines properly tooled and maintained.

  Shifts available:

  • Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Weekends (Fri–Sun): 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  What you'll do:

  1. Set up and operate CNC EDM machines — sinker, wire, or popper.
  2. Machine and test parts to engineering and customer specifications.
  3. Inspect/test parts against manufacturing standards and blueprint specs; check visually for burrs or surface damage.
  4. Maintain accurate part ID and documentation per planning specs.
  5. Communicate shift-change info clearly to the next team.
  6. Perform routine TPM on equipment.
  7. Follow safety rules, quality procedures, and company policy; maintain a clean, organized 6S work area.
  8. Keep materials and parts flowing through the cell.

  What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2–5 years of experience with wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required)
  • Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls a plus
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, planning docs, and manufacturing specs
  • Comfortable multitasking in a team environment
  • Physical: lift 50 lbs (4"–25"), push/pull 60 lbs, grip strength 50 lbs, reach above shoulder (65")
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
