Position: EDI Manager
Salary Range $100,000 - 120,000

Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced EDI Manager to lead a critical EDI function and drive improvements across team performance, trading partner onboarding, and day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both people management and technical EDI expertise. The ideal candidate will bring structure, accountability, and process improvements while serving as the primary escalation point for complex EDI and integration-related issues.



Responsibilities of the EDI Manager:




    • Lead and develop a team of EDI professionals through clear priorities, accountability, and communication.

    • Improve collaboration between internal teams, business stakeholders, and external EDI partners.

    • Identify and resolve onboarding bottlenecks to reduce implementation timelines.

    • Establish reporting and visibility into onboarding projects, support issues, and operational performance.

    • Prioritize and resolve outstanding EDI support and integration issues.






  • Document end-to-end EDI processes and trading partner workflows.

  • Develop standardized onboarding procedures and support processes.

  • Create SOPs for EDI operations, monitoring, and issue escalation.

  • Evaluate long-term process, staffing, and operational improvement opportunities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EDI performance and scalability.


Preferred Experience of the EDI Manager:




    • 7+ years of EDI experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.

    • Strong understanding of ANSI X12 EDI standards and common transaction sets, including 850, 810, 856, 855, 997, and related documents.

    • Experience managing trading partner onboarding projects from requirements gathering through production go-live.

    • Experience working with EDI VANs, managed service providers, or integration partners.

    • Hands-on experience troubleshooting EDI transactions, mapping issues, integration workflows, and production support incidents.

    • Experience supporting EDI within an ERP environment and collaborating with technical integration teams.






  • Strong vendor management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.



Bonus Experience of the EDI Manager:


  • Experience supporting organizations within distribution, supply chain, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, hospitality, or related industries.

  • Familiarity with EDI mapping tools and integration platforms.

  • Experience building EDI documentation, governance standards, and operational procedures from the ground up.

  • Background leading EDI modernization, process optimization, or large-scale onboarding improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with Infor M3 ERP (or similar ERP systems)

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes.

  • Familiarity with additional EDI connections (210, 310).
