EDI Mainframe Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (REMOTE)

EDI Mainframe Developer with the following skill set:
  1. COBOL + DB2 development experience is preferred. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, SCLM.
  1. EDI knowledge is a must
  2. Should be able to write queries to interact with DB2.
  3. Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration.
  4. Should have knowledge on promoting code to production using any of the tools, good to have SCLM and IN-SYNCH.
  5. Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination
  6. Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
  7. Experience in fixing job abends and working on minor enhancements.
  8. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement the minor enhancements.
  9. Should be willing to learn new technologies and collaborate with the team.
  10. Hands on experience on IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 preferred
  11. Knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring of EDI IBM Sterling integrator preferred
  12. Good Knowledge and hands on experience in business process development preferred
  13. Extensive exposure on map development (X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat files) preferred
  14. Good experience with various file formats like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat files preferred
  15. Proficiency in DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, APIs, FTP/SFTP, Java and JavaScript preferred
