The University of Virginias School of Education and Human Development seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Human Services to teach and provide content expertise for programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Opportunities may be for the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and/or Spring 2027 semesters. Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position which does not carry benefits. Opportunities may be available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online.

A masters or terminal degree in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught is required; however, a terminal degree is preferred in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.
