Job Summary

This 100% Program Supervisor II position is for a full-time role in the UC Davis EDAPT clinic within the Behavioral Health Center at the UC Davis Medical Center. The goal of the UC Davis EDAPT clinic is to intervene as early as possible to support recovery for individuals with serious mental illness. The responsibilities of this position are to provide direct clinical services, including evidence-based clinical and functional assessments as well as evidence-based individual, family and group interventions (e.g., CBT for Psychosis, Trauma-focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Focused Therapy, and Multi-family group). Duties include direct and administrative supervision of peer support supervisor, clinic coordinators, and case managers; leading county required reports, partnering with Medical Director and Psychological Services Supervisor in leading team meetings and program/support staff services for intake coordination, providing oversight of program quality and requirements for Sacramento County, supporting required data collection, and representing clinic leadership in Sacramento County and EPI-CAL TTA meetings, where needed. Additional duties include assisting the Medical Director and Psychological Services Supervisor with operational tasks, as indicated; assisting the Medical Director with overseeing clinical flow, staff hiring and onboarding; consulting with the Medical Director on administrative and support staff coverage and supervision needs; and coordinating with the Medical Director on any personnel-related matters regarding direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)or Licensed Psychologist. Must have active license in the State of California, in good standing.
• PhD or PsyD in Psychology, Master of Social Work (MSW), or Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health Counseling
• Minimum of one-year full-time experience providing direct evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment services to youth and adults with early psychosis ages 12-40 and their families is required.
• Proficiency using evidence-based interventions for the treatment of youth with early psychosis ages 12-40 and their families (i.e. individual and group approaches based in CBT for psychosis, DBT, and/or ACT as well as family- oriented treatments such as Multifamily group and Functional Family Therapy) is required to work in this outcomes-oriented treatment program.
• Experience interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, the ability to identify when differences in culture of language may impact communication, and how to resolve those differences appropriately and with cultural humility is required.
• Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, and demonstrate respectful and collaborative communication is required.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully and respectfully manage conflict is required.
• Ability to work independently, organize schedule to complete tasks on time, and complete documentation or other projects in a timely fashion is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to organize a variety of concurrent activities, set realistic goals and objectives, plan ahead and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of Windows-based computer software and electronic medical records is Required.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills to effectively foster positive communication within a complex organization.
• Ability to implement and adhere to UCD and Department policies and procedures.
• Ability to develop performance standards, measure performance, and evaluate and correct performance.
• Ability to encourage professional development for staff to enhance performance and career growth.
• Decision Making: On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.
• Planning skills to analyze program goals and objectives to make accurate short- and long-term projections to establish program needs and resource requirements.
• Knowledge of organizational theory, principles, and practices of management techniques to make effective judgments and recommendations.
• Demonstrated skills to communicate efficiently and effectively (both orally and written) with all levels of academic, administrative, clinical and staff personnel within the School, Campus, Medical Center and outside agencies and institutions.
• Skilled in computers and knowledgeable of the appropriate programs necessary for the effective management of business operations of the unit.
• Strategic Planning: Knowledge and demonstrated skills of strategic planning (short and long term) .

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an early psychosis program is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with trauma-focused treatments for youth is considered a strength
• Previous experiencing with teaching or training others (e.g. students, practitioners, families, community members) in areas related to mental health identification or treatment is preferred.
• Bilingual language capacity is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with documentation required by Sacramento County mental health system (e.g. SmartCare) or UCDMC (e.g. EPIC) is strongly preferred.
