    EcoSchool Data Manager 
     
    Part-time: 15-20 hours per week with seasonal swells around reporting and project deadlines. The schedule is flexible and should allow for at least one in-office day, as well as visits to each of our program locations in the Fall.

    Compensation: starting at $21.36/hour
     
    Summary 
    This role supports the ongoing compliance and administrative needs of SEEDS EcoSchool programs, with a specific emphasis on organizational activity and output/outcomes data across several platforms. 
     
    Essential Job Duties 
    • Own the Grant Electronic Monitoring System (GEMS) documentation collection and submission process. This includes managing documentation for all sites and following up with appropriate staff when items are needed. 
    • Coordinate the Youth Program Quality self-assessment process and procedures, including coordinating and performing in-person observations, as well as leading required post-observation discussions and reporting. 
    • Monitor program use of EZReport attendance and activity submissions, helping ensure all deadlines are met.
    • Act as the “local expert” for other systems EcoSchool uses for reporting and compliance, such as Brightwheel, EZReports, MiRegistry, and others as assigned, assisting staff with use and troubleshooting. 
    • Support program staff in the administration of staff, student, and family surveys.
    • Collaborate with the EcoSchool Program Director in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our data management practices with a bias for minimizing the administrative load on program staff.
    • Other duties, as assigned, and Special projects as approved by supervisor 
    Qualifications 
    • Demonstrable experience with high-quality data hygiene practices and an ability to coach others in the same. 
    • Familiarity with Microsoft, including Excel, and with the full Google Suite, including Drive.
    • Experience working with Salesforce and other systems mentioned above preferred. 
    • Ability to interpret and assess data to ensure it meets criteria 
    • Interest in continuous improvement for data collection procedures
    • Operational knowledge of out-of-school time and summer learning programs preferred
    Required Skills 
    • Ability to work independently as well as within a semi-remote team 
    • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new databases and digital interfaces. 
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
    • Strong and clear communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings
