    • Develop category strategies across pricing, assortment, promotions, merchandising, and other commercial levers to support sustainable growth.
    • Analyze customer, financial, and operational data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, evaluate performance, and make informed business decisions.
    • Build productive vendor relationships through ongoing performance discussions, negotiations, joint business planning, and alignment on shared growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, operations, finance, and other partners to translate category priorities into coordinated initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to introduce new products, expand assortments, or develop initiatives that improve the customer experience and category performance.
    • Improve category performance by testing ideas, measuring outcomes, and adjusting strategies based on customer and business insights.
    • Influence cross-functional partners and external vendors by clearly communicating priorities, recommendations, business rationale, and expected impact.
    • Monitor category and vendor performance against established metrics and use insights to recommend actions that support revenue, profitability, and customer experience.

    What You'll Need

    • 4+ years of experience in category management, brand management, merchandising, ecommerce, retail, or a related commercial role.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree requirement applicable to the position.
    • Demonstrated experience owning or directly contributing to P&L performance, including the ability to understand revenue, profitability, pricing, assortment, and promotional decisions.
    • Experience with vendor management, including building relationships, evaluating performance, conducting negotiations, and developing shared business plans.
    • Ability to interpret financial, customer, and operational data and translate findings into clear recommendations and actions.
    • Experience collaborating across functions such as marketing, supply chain, operations, finance, or merchandising to deliver business goals.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and changing business needs.
    • Ability to travel less than 20%, based on business needs.

    Bonus

    • Experience managing or scaling new, emerging, or rapidly growing brands or categories.
    • Experience with ecommerce, technology-enabled retail, marketplaces, or direct-to-consumer businesses.
    • Exposure to supply chain, forecasting, inventory planning, or related operational disciplines.
    • Experience introducing new products, developing go-to-market plans, or expanding assortments.
    • Demonstrated success improving category revenue, profitability, customer experience, or other measurable business outcomes.
    • Experience influencing cross-functional partners when priorities, information, or business conditions are evolving.
