Job Summary
The position of Early Childhood Education (ECE) Assistant is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as an assistant to the teacher; following lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. This position reports to the Director of Early Childhood Education.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Child Development "Associate Teacher" (or higher) Permit which includes 12 units of ECE/CD courses Vaccinations - MMR/TDap/Flu

The Preschool s are located in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK ($78.00 payable by applicant), A PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION, INCLUDING DRUG SCREENING (at District expense), AND A NEGATIVE TUBERCULOSIS TEST.
