    There is a laboratory Teaching Assistant position available in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department.

    What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


    + Responsible for teaching General Biology lab sections for Fall 2026.

    + Teach laboratory sections of General Biology 1 Labs, supervise and lead quiz and discussion sections, grade class assignments, serve as course assistant, or perform comparable activities.


    What You Should Know


    + This position works closely with a faculty course coordinator which regular preparatory meetings during the semester.

    The salary for this 75% position is $22,755.

    What We Require


    + Applicant is a recent graduate of the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology graduate program, has 5 academic years of experience teaching undergraduate laboratory courses and demonstrated expertise of general biology concepts.


    What You Will Need


    + Demonstrated mastery of foundational biology principles relevant to undergraduate instruction, proficiency with standard laboratory procedures and equipment, ability to explain complex scientific concepts, ability to prepare laboratory materials following established protocols.
