Client Overview:
Our client is a nationally recognized, Am Law-ranked law firm with offices throughout the United States and internationally. Our client is seeking an experienced eBilling Specialist (Legal) to join their Revenue Management team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$31/hr - $51/hr Depending on location

Position Overview:
This fully remote eBilling Specialist position is responsible for managing the firm's electronic billing process, ensuring invoices are submitted accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with client-specific billing guidelines. The ideal candidate will have prior legal eBilling experience within a mid-size or large law firm and be comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities of the eBilling Specialist (Legal):
  • The eBilling Specialist will manage the full electronic billing process, including invoice submission, monitoring, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
  • Submit invoices through various third-party eBilling platforms while ensuring compliance with client billing requirements.
  • Research and resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and billing discrepancies in collaboration with Attorneys, Billing teams, and clients.
  • The eBilling Specialist will maintain and update client billing guidelines, vendor portal requirements, and timekeeper approvals.
  • Submit client budgets, accruals, and other required information through vendor billing systems.
  • Generate reports to monitor billing activity, outstanding invoices, and submission trends.
  • The eBilling Specialist will provide internal support and guidance regarding eBilling procedures and client requirements.
  • Partner with Billing teams and firm leadership to improve billing efficiency and maximize collections.
Required Experience/Skills for the eBilling Specialist (Legal):
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal eBilling experience within a mid-size or large law firm.
  • Strong understanding of legal eBilling processes, client billing guidelines, and electronic invoice submission.
  • Experience with third-party eBilling platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, BillingPoint, Tymetrix, or similar systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of invoices while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the eBilling Specialist (Legal):
  • Experience with Aderant, Elite, and/or eBillingHub.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT in a professional setting.
  • Experience supporting complex legal billing operations in a large law firm environment.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
