Women's Assistant Basketball Coach (Part -Time / Stipend Position) Start Date: July 1 Compensation: $5,000 stipend Term: Season agreement Governing body: NCCAA Position Overview: The Women's Assistant Basketball Coach, through faithful service to serve the mission of Kuyper College, will be motivated and passionate about Women's Basketball and have a desire to support all aspects of our basketball program. This role is ideal for a coach seeking collegiate experience and to contribute to a competitive, mission- driven, and Christ -centered program. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with day -to-day operations of the women's basketball program • Support the recruitment of prospective student -athletes, including evaluations and relationship building • Contribute to practice planning and on- court instruction, including skill development and team concepts • Assist with game preparation, scouting reports, and film breakdown • Help foster a positive, faith- centered team culture aligned wit h the program's values • Support the academic, personal, and spiritual development of student -athletes • Assist with travel coordination, equipment, and other administrative duties as needed • Professionally represent the program and institution on campus and in the community • Adhere to the guidelines established by the NCCAA Qualifications: • Previous playing or coaching experience (college level preferred) • Strong communication and organization skills • Passion for mentoring and developing student -athletes • A demonstrated Christian faith and willingness to support the mission and values of the institution • Ability to work evenings, weekends , and travel as needed Skills and assets • Attention to detail • Time management • Positive attitude • Leadership • Patience • Personal Discipline • Conflict resolution Interested applicants, please provide a resume and cover letter to HRapplications@kuyper.edu Also, please visit our website at www.kuyper.edu Thank you for your interest in Kuyper College
