HOME CARE AIDE DUTIES

• Companion Care: Companionship, activities, hydration and nutrition reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and running errands, meal prep, laundry, med reminders, rides to errands and appointments.

• Memory Care: (In addition to Companion care duties) Monitor and report changes in mental health status, care needs. 

• SUPPORTING CLIENT’S MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS: Client has bipolar disorder that is managed with medication, Monitor and report changes in mental health status, care needs. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a working Smartphone (PAID biweekly reimbursement)

• Read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.

• Driving/Transportation: Driving is an essential function of this position; must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle to perform client errands, transport clients and travel between client assignments when assigned.

  • Employees must maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, access to a reliable vehicle, current vehicle registration, and automobile insurance meeting Company requirements.

• Must complete the CDSS-required Home Care Aide registration and Live Scan fingerprinting process

• Must satisfy the CDSS-required tuberculosis examination/documentation requirements
