Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Preppers Teacher - Early Preschool Program

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is seeking a nurturing and dependable Preppers Teacher to support children as they transition from toddler routines into early preschool learning. This classroom focuses on independence, communication skills, and structured play-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom routines for children approximately ages 2½-3
• Support early language, social, and problem-solving development
• Implement age-appropriate learning activities aligned with center curriculum
• Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities
• Follow all New Jersey licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior childcare experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and classroom support skills
• Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing standards

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
