POSITION SUMMARY:
The Early Learning Lead Teacher at the YMCA of Greenwich is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons in literacy, arts, math, science, and recreation, while fostering creativity and curiosity. The Lead Teacher collaborates with the Head Teacher to ensure alignment with state and developmental standards. Responsibilities include conducting observations and assessments to track children's progress, building strong relationships with families, and supervising Assistant Teachers and volunteers. The Lead Teacher ensures compliance with YMCA and regulatory guidelines and maintains accurate program documentation. PAY RANGE:
$22/hour – $26/hour (based on experience and certification)
