The EHS Mentor Coach is responsible for observing and assessing the infant/toddler classroom activities and providing on-the-job guidance and training to Early Head Start program staff to improve the services and support the development of center staff.  Requirements:Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field of study, such as Special Education, Child Development, PsychologySelf-directed and multitask oriented.Ability to work as a team member, collaborating with colleagues as part of the Early Head Start Management team.Skills in providing training to Early Head Start direct service staff and assist staff in creating professional goals and action steps to reach goals in order to improve services to infants/toddlers Required to obtain Infant CLASS certification, Toddler CLASS certification, knowledge of infant/toddler curriculum, and social/emotional curriculum Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining constructive relationships with infant/toddler direct service staff and serve as a role model for best practices.Monitor the implementation of the infant/toddler curriculum through observations.Provide non-intensive and intensive training and coaching to staff based on need.Increase effective teaching practices and intentional interactions that promote infant/toddler learning and development.Conduct and analyze needs assessments, curriculum fidelity assessments, and CLASS observations.Salary Range: $ 19.00- $22.00 per hour
