Early Head Start Infant & Toddler Teacher Needed for WCCA Early Head Start ClassroomWest Central Community Action is seeking a Teacher for the Madison Avenue Early Head Start classrooms. This position will have a direct focus on children 0 to 3 years of age in Council Bluffs. Teachers are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for each child. This includes lifting, diapering, feeding, washing, and sitting on the floor with all Early Head Start ages. Teachers are responsible for the planning, management, operation and evaluation of the program in their room. AA/AS in Early Childhood Education required for position, BA/BS preferred, in Early Childhood, with infant/toddler emphasis.Current & Valid driver's license and current and valid auto liability insurance requiredChild Development Accreditation along with HS Diploma or some college courses may be considered in lieu of completion of Associate's or Bachelor's degree(s).Benefits include health, dental and life insurance, vacation and sick pay, 13 paid holidays, LTD, IPERS and 403(B) retirement programs.
