What You’ll DoAs a Teacher Assistant, you’ll be an essential partner in the classroom—helping students ages 3–12 grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with a classroom teacher and under the guidance of the principal, you’ll bring learning to life through hands‑on support and meaningful interactions.Your daily impact will include:
  •      Supporting individual students or small groups to reinforce lessonsGuiding independent study, enrichment, and remedial activities
  •      Assisting with grading, prepping materials, and organizing classroom toolsHelping lead group activities and school‑wide events
  •      Preparing supplies and instructional resources for daily learningSupervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special events
  •      Participating in professional development to sharpen your skillsPitching in wherever needed to keep the classroom running smoothly What You BringSkills & Strengths

  •      Basic computer literacy Education RequirementsYou must meet one of the following:60+ college credit hours
  •      Associate’s degree or higherPassing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
  •      Completion of Missouri’s online Substitute Training ProgramValid Missouri Substitute Teaching CertificateApproval by the Board of Education
