    Description

    We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is caring and loves to be around children. Flexible full-time hours with vacation after a year and holiday pay after 90 days.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Plans and implements daily activities (indoor/outdoor) as they relate to the curriculum.
    • Responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of the children.
    • Maintains daily attendance records.
    • Responsible for maintaining ongoing developmental records for each child, including keeping records of all developing skills (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive).
    • Updates and maintains a portfolio of each child’s progress, including photographs, samples of their artwork, writing, etc.
    • Maintains good communication with parents daily through the use of daily sheets, notes, and/or verbal.

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma.
    • Ability to lift children, including bending, stooping, stretching, squatting, pushing and pulling, and sitting and walking.
    • Work with moderate to loud noise levels.
    • Have mobility required to ensure the safety of the children.
    • Work with children on the floor.
    • Work outdoors in any variety of weather.
    • Have visual and hearing capabilities that allow consistent supervision of children with Group Child Care Licensing safety requirements.
